Produced his first win in nearly two years and appearing to benefit from the recent wind surgery when scoring over this distance at Catterick last time. He's gone up six lbs to a mark of 71 which is still 14 lbs below his highest winning mark so he's obviously well handicapped on his best form especially if the surgery has the desired effect again on second start since which is more than likely. He has won three times on good to firm so won't mind the quicker conditions.
