I have been a member of Olbg since September 2009 and must say it's one of the most user friendly sites out there. The fact all tips, comments, stats & performances are recorded and available for inspection it really does mean you have to bring a professional approach. You are judged on what you say and do, so I will do my best to help others along the way in our journey to prise some profit out of those miserly bookies. I am a genuine horse racing enthusiast and have spent (or some might say wasted!) over 30 years as an avid punter and the beauty is I am still learning. This site definitely helps as the information and knowledge of other members available is excellent.....and free. My other hobbies are photography and cricket, I'm the current Skipper of Seveno CC a south London friendly cricket team and we're always looking for new players. I'm also a keen photographer and have captured some great memories especially from Cheltenham and if any photos catch your eye, please get in touch. For me, all roads from about November lead to the greatest sporting event of the year, The Cheltenham Festival and I have been going nearly every year since 1998. The memories, stories, good punts & bad will make a great book one day! I always look for value and hopefully a few juicy punts click on here. I would say horse racing is my game but I do like the odd dabble in the golf, boxing & cricket markets. Enjoy the ride!

Caught the eye flying at the finish on seasonal debut last time at Kempton in first time cheek pieces and they are discarded for the visor here. Actually won in a first time visor over course and distance last year and with overall course form reading 312 from three visits to the track she should go well. Is actually a 1lb than that C&D win and the more I write the more I like. Should strip fitter now and looks a great each way and makes up a nice each way double with One Cool Dreamer.

Wasn't disgraced on handicap debut when a staying on fifth at Kempton. The runner up has since gone very close at Chester and the 7th has been beaten a neck at Goodwood so form could be ok. Shaped as if the extra furlong will suit and has a cracking each way chance with Rossa Ryan booked. Down a 1lb from last run and actually looks well in with the favourite as best a horse called Darroch further than that one did. Each way shout.

Hasn't won as much as her ability suggests she should of done so but has been dining at the top table and wasn't disgraced in the Nunthorpe, Abbaye or the Qipco Champion sprint last season at Group 1 level. In fact really caught the eye in the Abbaye here last season and if running up with the pace can rattle home again to win this. Will find this level much easier and should be spot on after a pipe opener at Newmarket. Hoping Hollie starts off my punting day well before partner Tom finishes it off in style. It could well happen! Should go well from decent draw and won't mind the ground if it continues to dry out.

Dam was Listed placed over 1m2f so chances are this one will stay the extra distance and the only imponderable for me is drying ground. However created a good impression when coming wide and late last time to win a Group 3 here at Longchamp and shapes as will improve again with the extra yardage. Form of that win looks okay too as beat the 5th Molten Rock further than they did in the Lingfield Oaks Trial yesterday. Good chance to my eye as doesn't look tge strongest renewal of this race.

I can't believe this fella is still odds against so looks massive value as has improved massively which each run and can do so again here. Won maiden in workmanlike fashion but has looked different grade since and beat Islandsinthestream the last twice at Group 2 and 1 level, stretching a two length winning margin into an easy looking five length one. That one has since nearly won a Group 1 with the likes of Illinois, Ramadan and Bracken's Laugh all behind who each themselves have boosted the form. Fitness the only doubt but on the form book looks a good thing if he has trained on. Bred to exceptional as out of yard's superstar mare Minding and the Dubawi side will ensure he'll handle any give in the ground. Case clear enough but still looks value to my eye.

I can't believe this unbeaten filly in 6 races isn't shorter here even though obviously stepping up in grade. Any ground seems to suit and has won over a mile already so this trip isn't a bother either. Dam won over 1m4f anyway so she'll stay ok. Won the Fred Darling and how good does that form look now that the flying at the death third has gone on to win the 1000 Guineas at Newmarket. Win first five races in Italy up to Group 2 level before British debut and I think the bookings are underestimating that beginning to her career and should should be much shorter. Nicked a bit of value last night and notice money is finally arriving but still looks a cracking each way wager with the extra place on offer.

Caught my eye on seasonal debut when a good second to the match fit Miss Anya and can turn the tables here with that run under his belt. Up just 2lb here and with a nice draw in stall 1 surely has a big run in him. Acted around Brighton on debut and should handle conditions tomorrow. Trainer in good form lately with a couple of winners and many more running well from last ten or so runners sent out. Looks a cracking each way play and should hit the frame from plum draw but could even win. Lightly raced and looks an improving type and not badly handicapped. Bred to be speedy and I like his chances.

Has shaped as if will improve for this 7f trip and could still be unexposed enough to think is on a good mark for handicap debut. My only doubt is fitness because on Group 1 form this smart filly is a good thing. 4 x 4yo's have won this in the last decade and three have prevailed from the same draw of stall 3 as this one so she fits a lot of trends. Really caught the eye last time when second at Epsom in a Listed event, shaping as if the extra two furlongs here will bring even more improvement. That course is as undulating as Lingfield so my fancy should appreciate this course, trip and going. Form is strong as maiden win last year is working out well as the 2nd, 3rd and 4th have all won decent races already this season. Can be excused run next time in the Royal Lodge as trip was too short that day in another race that looks strong form. Sure to come on for seasonal debut and though pedigree suggests this distance might be too far racecourse evidence clearly indicates this fella will stay. I'll be surprised if he doesn't go close for trainer who has won this race before and might even throw his hat into the Derby ring next month. Big chance.

Trainer has won this three times in the last seven years and this Oaks entry is going to be hard to beat here based on the impression her emphatic win produced last time. Bolted up by 12 lengths on first start in turf and though this will be much tougher assignment it's going to take a good one to stop here. Ran well on debut to be third to a horse who has tackled Group 1 company since and improved on that effort to go close next time. Was only just reeled in on second start by another smart filly and did pull miles clear of the third that day. Quicker ground an imponderable but hard bit to think connections think this one is in an upward curve. Half sister to Ascot Gold Cup winner Courage Mon Ami so might get further in time but looks sure to go close here.

I'm thinking initially that this test might not be stiff enough for this horse but Epsom is more stamina sapping than many think as you have to be strong at the finish here. Mark of 102 looks fair and must go close especially as goes well fresh and did win first time up last season. Sire improved as he got older and another winter on this fella's back might just see more improvement. Well balanced and if getting a strong pace to aim at will be rattling home late on. Trainer in cracking form too and I'm finding it hard to find one with form as good as this one. Decent ground will suit too and as long as doesn't get tapped for toe and have too much to do can pick this lot up close home.

Put up a lovely performance to win on third start travelling really well and pulling clear of winner next time out it's Marvelous. Nice well balanced sort who handled that left handed galloping track at Ffos Las and should relish this trip now as has had a pipe opener this season . Only poor run was on final start last year when probably finding the trip too far and ground too soft. Better ground will suit and this looks like a drop in grade too so plenty to like for this smooth traveller who looks a strong favourite.

Have to have a saver on this twice raced filly who was just behind Star Kissed in a Listed event last time and should come on for that run too. Won maiden in good style on sole start as a 3yo and is the least exposed in here. Has a full brother Earl of Tyrone who has won over 1m6f so should stay this trip and trainer has won two of the five runnings of this race. I think this mare is the overpriced one at current prices especially as should come on for seasonal debut and first run for 315 days last time out. Won three of her four races last season and only defeat came over this trip on good ground but deserves another crack at this distance with another year on her back. Had shaped with victories over 1m4f on soft and heavy ground as if this trip would suit and I can see her running a big race in this Listed affair. Her dam was Listed class and also did manage to win on the all weather over 2m so there is a good chance my fancy will stay the extra 2f here. Jockey has won two of the five renewals of this race and plenty in here have stamina to prove or have fitness against them on their first starts of the season. Good each way shout.

Entitled to come on for the run and looks the each way player here. Dam has produced two other foals to see the track and the first one has won over 1m2f and the second one improved for debut to win on second start so that could be a pointer to this one having a chance here. This one only just got nutted on the line by Cadogan Place on debut on the all weather and though hasn't the physical scope of that one might be better suited to this track than that one. Improved on debut effort to bolt up next time at Newbury and pointed toe really well that day suggesting the better ground here will suit and could well be a good thing here given the turn of foot he showed last time. Rattled home once the proverbial penny dropped and though on the same terms here (gave her conqueror 5lb) should improve for the run and might turn the tables. The favourite made a very pleasing debut and is sure to be popular here but did go off at 80-1 and may of been flattered there, as though stayed on well into third gets a much different examination here. This twisty course on bad ground might not suit as took an age to get rolling last time and could well be outpaced here. The one I like is Haya who went off favourite last time but could only finished third on bad ground at Bath. However is sure to strip fitter and was a good second last year to an Oaks entered filly who is more than useful and is rated 88 now. There is no way this one should be as big a price as this based on Coral Cup run behind Langer Dan at Cheltenham and being 10lb better off here for that staying on 3 1/2l defeat gives him a massive chance of reversing the places. Langer Dan has done nothing but boost the form since with a narrow defeat to the reopposing Impaire Et Paisse in a three way go in the Grade 1 Aintree hurdle. On these terms my fancy had the beating of the favourite too on the back of that cracking effort at Cheltenham. Whether he is good enough to win this is a moot point but can't be discounted and at the prices has to be the play and looks the each way play of the day to me. Has won a chase but is a far better hurdler and amazing this consistent sort hasn't won over hurdles since s Grade 2 win as a 5yo in the Royal Bond. Yard going well with a 20% strike rate in the past fortnight and jockey is operating at a 19% one during the same period. That figure improves for Jack Kennedy who is 6-13 at this track this season and is returning a nigh on plus 30 profit for a level stakes punt. Wasn't far behind Chosen Witness the time before last and that one has since won at Ayr and this one can improve on all NH rules efforts on soft ground and go very close here.

Went agonisingly close last time at Haydock last time when just denied close home and just got undid by the long straight there. Will enjoy this shorter run in at this track and must be a player as really travelled well last time and looked all over the winner jumping the last before getting outstayed late on. Showed a great attitude to battle back too and is unexposed enough to think could improve again. Will have to improve off top weight in this better race but I do like this horse who wouldn't mind drying ground and has a cracking chance as long as it doesn't turn into a slog. Thomas Bellamy replaces 5lb claimer Joe Anderson and he booted home a double at Fontwell yesterday. Interesting connections haven't left the claimer on given carries top weight and should go well in this .

Has always shaped like a stayer and improved another massive jolt when bolting up in the Edinburgh National and though 14lb higher here has to be respected. Made all there and won't get away with the same tactics here in this better race but is most progressive and can go well again. Yard won this with Mighty Thunder in 2021 after that one also landed the Edinburgh National and it's obvious my fancy is primed up for a shot at the same double. Jockey and trainer have already had a winner, second and third at this meeting on Friday and I really fancy this one to hit the frame here at least. Totally unexposed at staying trips and younger horses do well in this race and 3 x 7yo's have won this in the last decade. Lots to like about his chances especially as has been targeted at this since easy win last time.

I'm loathed to desert L'eau du Sud but again he might find one too good and that one may well be the very unexposed Cracking Rhapsody who was a very taking winner of the Morebattle at Kelso. Has the re-opposing Ginger Mail to contend with again here and despite that one being better off the weights my fancy was well on top last time and looks a likely improver who can take the 8lb hike in his stride. Half brother to the very decent Cracking Destiny who ended up a seven time chase winner and this one promises to be even better. Seems to go on any ground and looks a cracking each way punt despite stiffer opposition here.

Up another 8lb to a mark of 124 after stylish win last time at Newbury stepping to 2m6f for the first time. Should get the 3m trip here stepping up again, and this well bred sort out of Saints des Saints mare who has produced the decent Regal Renaisaanc who stays 3m is well worth following. Caught my eye on more than one occasion including when a length second to Prairie Wolf, who has hardly let the form down with form figures of 4113 since and the last run was here at this meeting off a mark of 137 on Friday. Yard in fair nick too with 2 winners from the last 8 sent out. Improving sort coming here off a career best and actually looks well handicapped to me especially as is totally unexposed at this distance.

I really fancied this one too last time at Uttoxeter but could only finish fourth behind Santos Blue in what actually might prove to be a decent handicap hurdle. Had previously won a novice hurdle at the stiff Carlisle beating a subsequent winner and shaping as if this extra distance would suit. Has some good form in the book as debut in France was a good second to a subsequent listed hurdle winner and British debut at Aintree had worked out quite well with plenty of winners emerging out of it. Nice looking sort with plenty of scope and in a first time hood can hopefully settle better and get home over this trip. Dam has produced a 3m5f winner in the decent D'Jangoso chances are an even stiffer test will suit in time for this one. Cracking each way play here.

Dam was a winner over a mile in a Group 3 as a 2yo and has produced three other foals to see the track as well as this one. One of those was a dual 2yo winner and another won as a 3yo over 1m3f plus so there is plenty to suggest Seamore can win races. The filly also ran a hugely eyecatching race on debut too when staying on really well into fourth at Lingfield shaping as if a step up in trip would suit. Plenty to like on paper and backed up by what I saw on racecourse debut and this one if improving on that initial effort can run well stepping up in distance.

I quite fancied this one last time but could only finish a staying on fourth at Newbury on a day where conditions turned quite horrible by the time this one ran late on the card. Had previously been pulled up in a Grade 2 again in testing conditions and though both those efforts were at 3m and had stamina to prove is bred for the job. By a Presenting mare who produced Real Milan who was a 3m novice chase winner here at Ayr many years ago so hopefully this sibling can replicate that by winning over this trip at the same course over hurdles. Won a point to point in Ireland before swooping hands for big money and won first two starts for yard and to my eye has had viable excuses on both starts since. Too early to give up on and looks a 3m chaser in the making so should relish this test tomorrow. Winner at Newbury the last time has won again since so form might be okay and this one looks a cracking each way bet.

As I fancy Jagwar plenty later on the card have to have a saver bet on this one as has been a revelation in cheekpieces winning first two starts in them before a good third last time in a decent race. Was just ahead of Jagwar that day and is another who should appreciate this step up in trip. Trainer still in cracking form and this progressive sort is out of a Beneficial mate so should relish 3m trip. Each way player too.
