Didn't show much on the flat in 3 runs, before being much better over hurdles coming 3rd and 1st. A recent flat run wasn't anything to write home about, but we know that's not his preferred sphere and he'll strip fitter here. You'd like to see money for in it in the lead up to the race, as they're a gambling stable, but still plenty of time for that

Excellent winner at the festival, producing the performance that many had expected. In that race you normally need loads in hand of the handicapper, so up 8lbs when still so unexposed is unlikely to be his ceiling.

Very progressive last year before running too bad to be true in the cambridgeshire. He was a single figure price for that, and I think he can be forgiven for that. Very interesting if he gets things back on track at a big price

Favourite a tough nut to crack, but he's danced every dance in the last few months. Boss Robin is a massive improver, beating Fern's Lock last time out. A repeat of that performance puts him in with a great chance of making the frame

Ran in Bob Olinger's Lawlor's of Naas hurdle, and performed with credit so was always thought highly of. After 2 years out he came back last season to run in 2 novice chases, but not beginners chases he was pitched straight into graded company where he was 3rd in a grade 2 (Grand national fancy Mahler's Mission 2nd) and 3rd in a grade 3 (Journey with me 1st, Limerick Lace 2nd so a strong race). This season he won his beginners with the minimum of fuss, before being campaigned (in my opinion) a bit erractically with a 3 mile grade 1 novice followed by a grade 2 2 mile novice where he had little to no chance vs Blood Destiny and Spillan'e Tower. That 2 mile race was at the beginning on March, he than ran twice more in March at the intermediate trip (including a grade 1) when it was becoming clear he needed a break or ease in grade . 5 weeks off might have helped, but the ease in grade should almost certainly be what was required, and he's now a massive price and he's certainly better than a 134 horse.

Impressive performance on rules debut, beating a few horses with wins under their belt to come out on top in a listed contest. Plenty here with potential to improve, but she's certainly on the list of those with more to come also, and showed a likeable attitude at Market Rasen

Reformed character this year, travelling excellently through his races and knuckling down well enough to win twice and win "his race" vs Impaire Et Passe last time out when State Man was away and gone. Struggling to see how his old rival can reverse that form here, both been saved for this but Bob comes here in good form, whilst Impaire Et Passe's season has been underwhelming

A bit to find on form, but Mouse Morris doesn't bring them over for a nice day trip away, his record over here is excellent and if he believes this horse is up to the challenge then I'd be inclined to agree. Still pretty unexposed over fences, just 4 runs so far

Looks the value here if the favourite is still not 100% right. This race will have been the aim for this horse since he joined the Nichols yard, where as the rest of the protaginists had Cheltenham as the aim and many had hard races there

Looks to be a cut above these here, putting Ginny's Destiny in his place last time out. Il Etait Temps saves his best for Leopardstown, so I think he'll struggle here
