Going for the hatrick today after going up 7lb winning a competitive handicap with several Cheltenham runners where golden maverick was balloted out of the triumph hurdle. Against a decent rival in swift hawk who let himself down with his jumped yet still finishing second now up 4lb for that. Assuming golden mavericks jumping is continuing to improve he should have too much for swift hawk as he has only hurdled over testing ground so far yet his flat form suggests he will go a lot better on sounder surface so that's the NAP for today

A very interesting choice in a rather large field offering extra places back on turf. Hasn't won on turf in 6 years but very lightly raced on it too. Has been in good form on all weather and I think the switch to turf is to take advantage of good form on a much lower mark. Well drawn and pace conditions that suit. It's good ground so not like he has to compete on heavy ground as a tough transition and could run a big race here today. NAP

Cool desire is a danger as showed great stamina over a 4m point finishing a close second but back down to 3m where sponthus won last on good ground might make the ground too quick for cool desire and going for the win here

Was a better reappearance run that the bare form suggests as didn't get the run of the race at all. Handily dropped 1lb for now and was in good consistent form tail end of last season. Longer distance suits and could go really well at a decent price

Hover on the wind is an obvious favourite based on last run finishing second to one of my previous tips that got him on the line. However that run could have been a flash in the pan and the conditions aren't quite the same this time. Which makes me look towards prince of bel lir who is dropping in grade considerably for this and by far the best horse here running off top weight. Showed some revival in form last season and could win off a big price

Looking at the race card you can see latest form last season was rather disappointing however was heavily raced last season and I think it all just caught up to him and fatigue set in. Now several reasons why could do well here and I think there's great value to be had at this price. First off, has one on season debuts before so that fitness concern shouldn't be a problem. Now also back at Windsor where he is a multiple winner at this course and distance so another massive boost. Lastly this field isn't the strongest and there's either horses out of form or other horses who have won recently like mystical guest but have been whacked up 9lb in weights so there's a big chance for silver Gunn to go very close today and each way makes sense. NAP

I've tipped be here now on both wins this season and now bidding for a hatrick. This wouldn't be the first time in these wins he overturns an odds on favourite so that's not to be a deterrent. Loves to come on late and if they do go off at a strong gallop it will be a plus. Still seems well treated for this progression and backing the hatrick win in a small field

Although a veteran he is probably in his best form ever currently. Watching his last run at Aintree was extremely impressive late on however will need to improve his jumping to win this. Extra distance shouldn't be a problem as Sam brown has even run in the grand national a few years back so stamina not a concern but if we get the same Sam brown from Aintree with improved jumping this will be a serious danger

The trilogy match against el fabiolo and Jonbon is finally here and I do expect el fabiolo to get the better here since they both have taken to fences. Jonbon dug deep to win well at Aintree but I'm slightly concerned if he will be able to go again against a well rested el fabiolo who although blew out with his mistake at Cheltenham but was perfect beforehand

Really like Al dancers chances here I think the market might have got this one a bit wrong as hitman is so hit and miss and very shortly priced. Easy game and real whacker both weren't convincing when pulled up last time out yet al dancer has been in great form and has the perfect conditions for pace ground and distance based on previous results. If you watch back his run at Cheltenham in the boodles he looked like a serious danger going into the last turn and could've ran a massive race however I think the ground got the best of him in the end but still ran well.
