Danny Tudhope takes over in the saddle which is a big plus and made good progress at the back-end of 2023. Finished 4th at Redcar on debut before filling the runner-up spot at Kempton when only a length behind Royal Power. The 4th that day, Morawig, has since won at Yarmouth to frank the form and plenty of improvement is likely for Modern Times.

Has started to get some leniency from the handicapper and could bounce back to form on the all-weather today. Wasn't given a hard time when 8th here on seasonal debut for Mick Appleby having moved from the William Haggas yard over the summer. Finished last at Newbury next time out on soft ground but has now been dropped to a mark of 79 having won off 85 at Newmarket in April 2022 and been rated as high as 93 at his peak.

Kevin Stott takes over in the saddle and likely to be much sharper for that run.

Spurs will be going all out to ruin Arsenal's title challenge today. They drew 2-2 earlier in the season and Spurs should be fresh after having a fortnight off to prepare. Arsenal have had to play 4 times since Spurs last played and fatigue could be a factor. The Gunners can't affort an slip ups but pressure told in the 2-0 defeat to Villa and although they bounced back with convincing wins over Wolves and Chelsea this will be a tougher assignment altogether.

Spurs drew 2-2 at the Emirates though and in tricky conditions will provide a stern test for the visitors. Arsenal can't afford to slip up if they are to keep their noses in front of Man City at the top of the Premier League table. Unfortunately their great rivals may spoil that this afternoon. They drew 2-2 earlier int he season and Spurs have won 5 of their last 6 at home so won't be easy to beat. They have also had two weeks off following their 4-0 defeat at Newcastle and that should give them the edge over an Arsenal side that has had 4 matches since Spurs last played.

The reverse fixture ended in a 2-2 draw and Spurs will be delighted with a point if it means runins their North London rivals title challenge. That could be a deciding factor in today's game.

A huge game in the race for promotion in the Championship. Norwich and West Brom both failed to win this afternoon which opens the door for Hull in trying to reach the playoffs. The title has already slipped from the grasp of Bayern after they couldn't keep up with the relentless Leverkusen side. They lost 5-1 to Frankfurt in December and that results won't have been forgotten by all concerned. Bayern will be going all out for revenge.

Liverpool had their title hopes all but extinguished in midweek with the 2-0 defeat at Everton. However, they will want to end the season strongly for departing boss Juergen Klopp. West Ham are leaking goals at an alarming rate with the 5-2 defeat at Palace raising more questions about the future of David Moyes. They were hammered 5-1 at Anfield and have lost their last five against them so we can probably expect more of the same.

Liverpool have won their last five against West Ham and will be hurting from their 2-0 defeat at Everton which ended any realistic title hopes. Jurgen Klopp will expect a reaction from his players and that doesn't bode well for the Hammers. West Ham look unsettled with uncertainty surrounding the future of boss David Moyes. They still have no problem scoring goals but the 5-2 defeat at Palace in midweek highlighted where their deficiencies lie. They lost 5-1 at Anfield and could easily get blown away again today
