Got badly unbalanced on sole 2yo run when coming 8/9 beaten 11.5 lengths in a hot class 3 maiden over 7.5f at Beverley. Will have learned from that run/experience, is nicely bred with a decent stamina dosage so step up to this 1.2 miles on 3yo return will suit, good jockey up and very good trainer is 1/3 with his 3yo's here last 5 seasons. Is getting on now for a flat horse, but showed last year when taking this race off a 5lb higher mark that they retain ability @ this level. Looked a horse full of promise back in 2022 before clearly having some form of training issue as they only returned this year and that was a very impressive win when taking a class 4 handicap hurdle here @ Sandown over 2 miles by 16 lengths. May have suffered bounce back factor when not following up in 3 @ Newbury but could be a totally different proposition with that run under their belt. Good jockey retains ride and very shrewd dual trainer 1/4 with his hurdlers here last 5 seasons, making current 16/1 solid Ew value in the race.

Won this in 2021 before losing it in stewards room being placed 3rd, went well for a long way in 22 before P/u at last and then fell last year at the 2nd fence. Looks like they have been trained with this race totally in mind again, good conditional who does well for this stable retains ride taking off 5lb and master trainer who does run 2 other runners, is tops here numerically last 5 seasons making current 28/1 the Ew call in the race.
