Seems to run well here, 2nd over CD on his penultimate start carrying 12 stone, has a 1st and a 2nd to it's name on the flat over 14 furlongs. He maybe up in grade today but only carries 10st 4 lb and James Best could really stretch them from the front here. I've seen worse 40/1 shots.

Trainer's horses are in tremendous at the moment and at the prices it may be worth chancing with Dancing in Brazil at 16/1. He faded last time out over two and a half miles at Hereford so, the drop back to the minimum trip looks the right choice , he was also a course winner in a NHF race here on good ground, the same conditions as today.

When I was first introduced to racing as a young lad, our forefathers use to say to me, back the Cheltenham flops next time out young boy, and you won't go far wrong. The reason being is, that horses are usually cherry ripe to run at the festival and if they flop the trainer will usually find a race next time out to make amends and, they are usually a good price. Flight Deck was bang in there till two out and weakened quickly in a large field at Cheltenham, this is a lot easier today and the 25/1 on offer looks way too big.

I'm taking a chance here that this horse will be fit after a 669 day absense, only because this trainer is good at sending out horses fresh who run well, and what adds weight to this bet is that it won easily over CD in a novice hurdle, and there's been bits of early money for it this morning, 40s into 33s.

There's only two horse in this race that have won on Heavy going and our selection has won three times on it, and he also finished 2nd in this race last year beaten only 2 lengths to Gibberwell who also runs here again today, but the selection has a 17 lb pull this time around taking in the jockeys claim as well. Looks overpriced here at 16/1.

The trainer has sent two horses down the M4 from Berkshire to Bath and you would think one of them will be trying. Highland Flyer was 3rd of 13 when last seen here over CD on it's final start last season, the 1st and 2nd that day were improving types so that was a good effort. Rob Hornby looks a good jockey booking and the 14/1 looks rather generous.

Finished 5th of 15 in this race last year beaten just over 2 lengths, 5 lb lower this time around and the trainer's horses have started the season well. Looks a great e/w punt at 25/2 with 5 places up for grabs. Spanish Star at 40/1 is another that could surprise and was 6 th in this race last year.

Shaped with promise on it's last three starts and the jockey had to explain to the stewards the lack of effort last time out when looked to be schooling in public. Connections would not want that happening again today and a big run is expected, also is the only horse in the race to have had course experience, a 4th of 13 in a maiden.

Roi Mage finished 13 lengths 7th in this race last year on ground that didn't really suit, he's officially rated 2 lb less this time, and on soft ground which he absolutely loves. What caught my eye most was that the experienced James Reveley comes over from France to ride. I think at 66/1 this has got to be the best e/w bet in the race especially with 6 places on offer.

Got 5 lengths to find with flooring Porter when fading up the hill on their running at Cheltenham in a class 1, but this flatter track will suit better and was 2nd of 20 here last year over 2 mile 4 furlongs and was running on that day, Im expecting a big run here at 16/1.

Twice a winner over this distance in France, but has failed to shine so far here in England, has been a beaten fav twice over hurdles so must be well thought of. He returned to the flat last month over this distance on the dirt and ran well for a long way, so hopefully that might have brought him on a bit. Worth chancing each way at 28/1 if all eight stand their ground.

It's worth taking a chance here on Man of Riddles at 16/1 e/w if all eight go to post. He won over CD in January and looked like he could win off a higher mark and going back through the form book he has won off 9 lb higher. His last two runs were on different courses and can be ignored as the jockey didn't really put in the effort, but should be giving it a good go today.

A frustrating sort who hasn't won for two years but has been chasing in that time and hasn't really cut that much Ice, now reverts back to hurdles on a winnable mark of 115 a mark which he was 2nd, over this CD in a grade 2, this is a grade lower and the stable are now in very good form. At 11/1 this is definitely over priced for an eight horse race. E/w advised if all eight go to post.

I can't see this one finishing outside the first three judging by what has been achieved so far, also has some decent form on this course in a bumper when coming second, the first third and fourth horses have come out and won numerous races since, The 4/1 looks a solid e/w bet and would recover most of my stake if it only finishes 2nd or 3rd.
