Only 1-32 but that win did come over 7 furlongs here last season and ran well over 6 back on turf here earlier this month. Step up to a mile today shouldn't be an issue and, while he's not one for maximum faith given his record, he's only been out of the first 2 once in 6 visits here so should run well in his quest for that 2nd career victory.

Showed plenty of promise in bumpers and hurdles for Nicky Henderson and broke his duck for Willie Mullins over fences when landing last year's Irish National. Landed a grade one novice chase on reappearance and, after being outclassed a couple of times behind Galopin Des Champs, bolted up in the BobbyJo Chase back at Fairyhouse when last seen in February. That race is often the best Irish trial for this race and therefore, with ground and trip unlikely to be an issue, this son of Authorized should take an awful lot of beating.

Showed good form over hurdles and broke his duck at the third attempt over fences when winning a 3 runner event at Exeter in February. Very solid 2nd behind Shakem Up'arry in the Plate at Cheltenham, finishing well after some novicey jumping. Step up in trip should be right up his street and open to plenty of improvement so should be bang there this afternoon.
